Paul Hinks - Caller & Referee
Paul Hinks has been an established and trusted referee with the PDC (Professional Darts Corporation).
Paul is a well-known voice on the circuit and rarely makes any miscalls. Hinks started in the local leagues with chalking many matches. Via that route, he gained his chance to call for the County of Yorkshire and thats where he later met Dennis Priestley.
With Dennis, he did many exhibitions and it was Priestley who advised Paul to apply with the PDC. During the 2004 matchplay he got the chance to call one match and he took the opportunity with both hands!. He is now an established member of the PDC team. Hinks remains active in darts as a caller for among others; the World Seniors tour and the Modus Super Series. He is now the established go-to referee for Showtime Darts Events!
Paul is a darts legend and will always make himself available for photos during the interval where possible during our events. Never be shy of asking!
Darren Court - Your MC
Darren Court has previously been an established Commercial Manager within the football industry, but has always had a strong interest in the rise of darts!.
Showtime Darts Events had been his brainchild for a long time as he felt that the amateur game and the glitz and atmosphere of the professional aspect of darts could be brought together for great evening of entertainment for both spectators and amateur players alike. It was due to this that Showtime Darts Events was finally created!
You will find that Darren arranges the events, liaises with the venues, promotes to the players and spectators, sources the local sponsorship for the chosen event, and then MC's on the night also! But he wouldn't have it any other way.
Together they are your Showtime Darts Events hosts on the mics!
